The wait is finally over. Rockets star James Harden has been traded to the Brooklyn Nets in a huge four team trade according to multiple sources. This will be a four team trade. The Nets will acquire Harden and the Cavaliers 2024 second round pick. The Rockets will acquire Victor Oladipo, Dante Exum, Rodions Kurucs, three unprotected first round picks from Brooklyn in 2022,2024, and 2026, one unprotected pick from Milwaukee in 2022, and four pick swaps from Brooklyn in 2021, 2023,2025, and 2027. The Pacers will acquire Caris LeVert and a second round pick. The Cavaliers will acquire Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince. All according to Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania.

This trade helps the Rockets a lot. Now they have a lot of draft picks for the foreseeable future. The Nets will be title contenders for the next few seasons at the very least. The Pacers have a very good core now around Caris LeVert, Malcom Brogdon, Myles Turner, and Domantas Sabonis. The Cavaliers got their young center of the future in Jarrett Allen.

The Pacers and the Rockets in the long term are the winners of this trade. They are building for the future and both teams have a bright one to look forward to. The Nets will only be winners in this trade in the short term if they are able to capture at least one NBA title in the next two or three years. The Cavaliers are going to have to move one of their bigs whether it be Andre Drummond or Kevin Love because the room is very crowded .
